Holland is a real open-cast museum where sailing is a kind of life and you will be welcomed on many rivers.
The Vecht River will lead you to the art cities that are Amsterdam and Utrecht. There are many passionning visits in prospect without forgetting the cafés, the shops and the outside tables of the cafés riverfront.
The landscapes full of windmills and tulip fields sublimated by the so peculiar brightness of this country will invite you to sail all the time further.
In this area, your departure base will be LOOSDRECHT.

Base of Loosdrecht :

You will go on board for about thirty kilometres in the south of Amsterdam. After having taken advantage of the wonderful lakes around Loosdrecht, you will be able to go to Amsterdam, Utrecht or even further the city of Edam located in the heart of an area very rich in fauna.
From Loosdrecht you will be able to go for a round trip over and over.

The Hollandse Ijssel Merwe De Kanaal from Gouda to Utrecht is closed before 16/04 and after 15/10.

You will be asked to pay a small toll at some locks and lifting briges (4-6 euros). Majority of the harbours in the towns ask for a payment for mooring.
